The Jordan District Elementary School ALPS Program is designed to provide greater depth and complexity, infuse creativity and critical thinking into the curriculum, and to provide appropriate learning experiences for the academically talented student. To enter the ALPS program, students show evidence of advanced abilities through an assessment process. Students in the elementary ALPS program attend school full-time at the ALPS magnet location. One class per grade level is a designated ALPS classroom.

Transportation is not provided to ALPS schools. Parents can choose to be added to an optional carpool list to help with transportation.
