Word Masters: A national competition for students in grades 3-8, which encourages growth in vocabulary and verbal reasoning. Over 4,200 school teams, from 50 states, participated last year.

Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics (UCTM) puts on Utah's Largest Math Event (ULME), which provides an opportunity for Utah teachers and students to join together in meaningful mathematics. The ULME activities are designed to encourage students to work together creatively as they solve rich and challenging problems
Social Studies Competitions
National History Day: Individuals or groups from grades 6-12 are invited to participate in the discovery and interpretation of historical topics related to an annual theme. Each state has specific requirements and winners advance to national levels.
